HARTFORD, CT – The Hartford Wolf Pack announced a pair of exhibition games against their in-state rivals, Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Thursday, September 28 and Saturday, September 30.
These two rivals will play at Trinity College’s Koeppel Community Sports Center on Thursday, September 28. Fans are asked to donate to the Ryan Gordon/Hartford Wolf Pack Community Scholars Fund. Gordon passed away in 2006 and asked the Wolf Pack to donate the money saved for his college education to the Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation. The suggested donation for the game is five dollars per person. Trinity College’s Koeppel Community Sports Center is at 175 New Britain Avenue in Hartford. The puck drop will be at 7 p.m.
The game on Saturday, September 30 will take place at the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center in Worcester, home of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers’ ECHL affiliate Worcester Railers. The Worcester Ice Center is located at 104 Harding Street. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 pm.
The Wolf Pack and their National Hockey League affiliate, New York Rangers, have had a busy offseason with the hiring of new head coach Keith McCambridge and assistant coach Joe Mormina along with the signings of players Paul Carey, Cole Schneider, Dan DeSalvo, and Eric Selleck.
The Wolf Pack will open the 2017-18 regular season at the XL Center on Friday, October 6 against the Charlotte Checkers. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
