The Wichita Thunder announced Thursday that forward Kenton Miller has been called up to the AHL’s Ontario Reign.
Miller, 24, is the first Thunder player this season to be heading to the AHL. The Redvers, Saskatchewan native received a call last year to the Manchester Monarchs, appearing in four games and scoring one goal.
Miller has two goals in four games this year, both of which came during the team’s opening contest at Tulsa.
He will join the Reign during their weekend set against San Antonio at home as well as their road contest at San Jose on Sunday afternoon.
Wichita will host the Colorado Eagles for a pair of games tomorrow night and Saturday afternoon.
