WICHITA, KS — The Wichita Thunder made a minor deal Tuesday, trading defenseman Andrew Blazek to the Norfolk Admirals for future considerations.
In 11 games with Wichita, Blazek did not record a point and was -1.
This will be the fourth ECHL team for Blazek, who previously had stops with Cincinnati (twice), South Carolina and Wichita.
In 2013-14, Blazek finished his college career at Robert Morris University and dressed in six regular season games and 20 postseason contests with the Cyclones, helping the them reach the Kelly Cup Finals. With the Colonials, Blazek picked up 51 points (17 goals, 34 assists) in 129 games.
Wichita returns to action tomorrow night against the Indy Fuel.
