LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – Today, The Sin Bin is celebrating our one-millionth visit; a major milestone reached in just 33 months of existence as a website.
The Sin Bin has seen growth in page views and visits in each of the last 22 months, with a site record of 173,513 visits in April 2017.
“This is a tremendous milestone for us and a true testament to the incredibly hard work that our editors, writers, photographers, and statistician put forth on a daily basis,” says site owner Joe Rozycki. “I know that I can speak for our editorial staff when I say that we are truly blessed to have every member of Team Sin Bin representing us throughout the minor league hockey world. We cannot thank the fans and supporters of minor pro hockey enough and we will continue our promise of bringing the best coverage of minor pro hockey to all of those who have gotten us to this achievement.”
Since The Sin Bin’s launch in March 2015, we have interviewed major sports figures like Mike Emrick, Bill Clement, Steve Levy, John Buccigross, Greg Wyshynski, Bob Chase, Daniel Briere, and Scott Darling. We have also provided fans with on-site coverage of the last three ECHL Kelly Cup championship wins, given exclusive coverage of the ECHL Trade Deadline, allowed fans to vote for their ECHL & SPHL all-star teams and more.
Also, we launched The Sin Bin app, available for download through the Apple & Android app stores and are now the flagship broadcast outlets for Wichita Thunder (ECHL) and Macon Mayhem (SPHL) games.
The Sin Bin has a writing staff that includes 10 American Hockey League, 20 ECHL and four Southern Professional Hockey League writers, a lead editorialist and a feature writer. Our team also consists of 14 photographers, a full-time webmaster, and statistician. Overall, The Sin Bin has representation in half of all minor league markets in North America.
