WICHITA, Kan. — The Sin Bin is proud to announce a multi-year extension with DASH Auctions (www.dashapp.io/fans). After a successful first year, both sides have agreed to extend the partnership through 2021.
“When you bring the #1 brand for minor league hockey coverage and the #1 brand for gameday auctions together, good things are going to continue to happen,” said DASH Auctions founder Jonathan Hufnagel. “At DASH, we want to ensure they do, not only for us and our partners, but for the fans as well. Extending our partnership for three additional years made 100% sense to us.”
In the first year of the partnership, The Sin Bin and DASH partnered together to bring fans a holiday hockey gifts auction, where fans could bid on jerseys, signed sticks, photos, and experiences and give them to their loved ones as gifts, just in time for Christmas. Then, just weeks later, The Sin Bin and DASH partnered with the SPHL to make the SPHL All-Star Fan Vote bigger and better, by auctioning off authentic jerseys to commemorate the occasion.
“We are extremely excited to partner with DASH for an additional three years,” said Matthew Harding, Editor-in-Chief of TheSinBin.net. “We have barely scratched the surface of what we can do with this partnership. Much like our team at The Sin Bin, Jonathan and his team are relentless in developing new and innovative ways to make the fan experience at games enjoyable.”
As part of the agreement, The Sin Bin will host several auctions on TheSinBin.net and The Sin Bin app. More information will be coming on those soon.
DASH (Digital Auction Showdown) is a fan-experience platform designed to enhance a fan’s sporting experience before, during, and after a game by connecting sports teams with their fans through live, in-game auctions.
Auctions are an experience familiar to both sports teams and fans, so there is no learning curve. The chance to win items directly from the game they are attending or experiences with their favorite player sets the stage for an ongoing, personalized relationship between the team and their fans. As the relationship grows between the team and fan, so does the DASH Fan Experience platform.
