The South Carolina Stingrays failed to join the field for the Kelly Cup Playoffs on Thursday night, losing in overtime to the Atlanta Gladiators.

In the west, the Indy Fuel won their second straight game, thanks to a Daniel Ciampini game-winning goal in overtime. The Fuel defeated the Cincinnati Cyclones 4-3 in overtime. Indy remains six points behind Tulsa for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Friday’s Key Games:

In the East, the Reading Royals host the Manchester Monarchs in an East Division battle. Manchester can clinch their first Kelly Cup Playoff berth with a win and any loss by the Elmira Jackals.

South Carolina is idle today, but a loss by the Elmira Jackals will clinch a berth for the Stingrays.

The Florida Everblades take on the Greenville Swamp Rabbits tonight at Germain Arena. With a win, Kalamazoo and Atlanta will be eliminated from playoff contention. A win, combined with an Elmira loss in regulation will clinch a berth for the Everblades.

Orlando looks to climb into a tie in points with the Jackals for the eighth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with a win tonight against Norfolk Admirals. The Solar Bears are 8-2 in their last 10 games. It is important to note that even if Orlando wins and Elmira loses, the Jackals will still hold the spot thanks to goal differential.

In the west, the Toledo Walleye travel to Fort Wayne to take on the Komets. A win for the Walleye, combined with a Wheeling loss in regulation, will clinch the North Division for the Walleye.

Colorado heads to Boise, ID to play the Steelheads. For Idaho, a win and regulation loss by the Utah Grizzlies will take their magic number for clinching the West Division down to 6. Colorado needs a win to maintain the 7th seed.

Quad City hosts Evansville at the i-Wireless Center. A Mallards win, combined with regulation losses by Tulsa and Colorado would put the Mallards in the 8th seed.

Here are the Magic Numbers for clinching division titles as of Friday:

Division Division Leader Magic Number
East Manchester 7
North Toledo 3
South South Carolina 17
Midwest Fort Wayne 11
Central Missouri CLINCHED
West Idaho 10
