MACON, Ga. – The Macon Mayhem edged out the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs Friday at the Macon Centreplex. Seeking revenge, the Rail Yard Dawgs put up two unanswered goals in the first period. Macon scored twice in the second period and looked to end the period with a tie. However, in the closing minute of the second, Roanoke scored utilizing an extra attacker on a delayed penalty. The Mayhem were unable to gain much traction in the third. Roanoke sealed the deal with an empty net goal.
