With some recent injuries up in Winnipeg, the Moose have seen some key players get the call up with the big boys and have had some younger guys get roles increased lately. One of those players is Dan DeSalvo, who scored his second goal of the season and currently has four points in four games with the Moose. Another youngster who has stepped up is Jimmy Lodge, who picked up a couple of helpers for his first two career AHL points.
The Moose got scoring from Brenden Kichton who potted his 7th, Darren Kramer got his fourth and Julian Melchiori scored his third of the season into an empty net to salt the game away.
Melchiori was back with the Moose after playing up with the Jets earlier in the week and he looked smooth and strong as he logged a lot of minutes to help the Moose get a big win.
