MILWAUKEE, WI – With three straight wins under their belt, the Manitoba Moose rolled into BMO Harris Bradley Center — a place where they have had success this season — to play the Milwaukee Admirals.

The Admirals were on a four-game home winning streak and hadn’t played since Wednesday. The Moose were coming off a big win Friday night in Rockford. The tired Moose showed no signs of fatigue as they knocked out another road win with an impressive 4-1 win over the Admirals.

Manitoba improved to 5-1-1-1 in their last eight games and have earned atleast one point in six straight.

Connor Hellebuyck stopped 30 shots and has won all three of his starts since rejoining the baby Jets. The Moose have the top 1-2 punch in the pipes as both Hellebuyck and Eric Comrie are all star goalies.

Max Gortz opened up the scoring for the Admirals with his 11th of the season just five minutes into the game but that was all the excitement for the home fans on this night.

Brenden Kichton tied things up for the Moose with his 6th of the season just 19 seconds later and the teams would remain in a stalemate until the third period.

Matt Halischuk scored the game-winning goal just 32 seconds into the final period, part of a three-goal onslaught by the Moose in the period.

For Halischuk, the goal was his 6th of the campaign. Moose Captain John Albert got his 10th and Scott Kosmachuk added his 12th, an empty netter. Halischuk and Kosmachuk had two point nights and were both strong players in contributing to this big win.

Manitoba leads the season series with the Admirals with a 4-1-0-1 record. These teams will meet two more times in Winnipeg at MTS Centre in April.

Marek Mazanec took the loss in the pipes for the Amirals as he gave up 3 goals on 21 shots.

The Moose will travel to Iowa to face the Wild for two games tomorrow and Wednesday nights.
