So, it’s been a couple of weeks since the Missouri Mavericks released their full schedule for the 2015-16 season. Since just about everyone else here at The Sin Bin has done a schedule breakdown (overachievers), I suppose I should do the same (thanks for making me look bad, jerks). The truth is, I’m just happy to be writing something about Mavs hockey again. It hasn’t been that long, but it has felt like an eternity. Less than five months until we drop the puck on next season. Now that seems like an eternity.

Looking through the Mavs schedule for next season, I’ve noticed that they have a pretty tough campaign in front of them. Eight of their 13 opponents made the Kelly Cup Playoffs this season, and three others barely missed the cut (Wichita, Indy, and Cincinnati). Granted, a lot can change between now and October 16th, but the slate looks quite formidable, not to mention the fact that the Mavs play more divisional games on the road (21) than they do at home (18). Although, I suppose the Mavs were much better on the road this year, but I would hope that would change next season. Here’s a deeper look:
