WINNIPEG, MB – The Milwaukee Admirals came into Winnipeg and rolled over the Moose 5-2 Wednesday night, handing them their 40th loss of the season, while the Admirals picked up their 45th win.

The Admirals are one of the top teams in the West while the Moose now hold down sole possession of last place in the AHL.

Eric Comrie was in the net Wednesday night for Manitoba and he stopped 32 of 37 shots to take the loss.

The Admirals dominated the second period as they had the play continuously in the Moose zone. Manitoba gave up three goals in the middle frame which proved to be costly.

Scoring for Milwaukee were Vladislav Kamenev, Felix Girard, Pontus Aberg with a pair his 21st and 22nd and Jamie Devane.

The Moose welcomed two more new additions into the line up Jansen Harkins and Brendan Lemieux both who just finished with junior as they were eliminated and brought up to finish the season in the AHL. In the two game set, both played well with Lemieux coming as advertised a physical, pesky, in your face player.

Andrew MacWilliam blasted his 1st of the season for the Moose and Darren Kramer notched his 7th of the season.

Dan DeSalvo picked up a pair helpers and now has 10 points in 13 games for Manitoba since being signed from the ECHL. The former Tulsa Oiler was named to the ECHL All-Rookie team on Wednesday.

Manitoba finished off the season series with the Admirals with a 4-3-0-1 record.

The Moose will finish off their home schedule this weekend with the Rockford IceHogs, who come to southern Manitoba for a two-game set.
