MANCHESTER, NH- The Manchester Monarchs revealed their 2017-18 regular-season schedule on Wednesday. The Monarchs will open their 2017-18 campaign when they play the Worcester Railers at the DCU Center for the first time in their inaugural season on Saturday evening October 14th. The Monarchs will have their home opener at SNHU Arena against the Worcester Railers on Saturday, October 21st. The Monarchs will play their 17th season and their third year in the ECHL.
In addition to the expansion franchise in Worcester, the Monarchs will also play against the first-year Jacksonville Iceman. They will also play one of their rivals the Adirondack Thunder, along with the Brampton Beast, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Norfolk Admirals, Reading Royals, Utah Grizzles, and Wheeling Nailers. They will play the Atlanta Gladiators and the Toledo Walleye on the road. They will face Worcester more than any other team, as these two teams will play 15 times, eight games in Manchester, seven games in Worcester. They will play the Adirondack Thunder 13 times: seven at home, six on the road.
The Monarchs are currently playing the South Carolina Stingrays in the Kelly Cup Eastern Conference Finals. The Stingrays will return to SNHU Arena for a rematch on February 10th and 11th.
The Monarchs schedule for home games features 11 Friday nights, 13 on Saturday nights, seven on Sundays that will include three six-game homestands.

The Monarchs will be back in action this weekend for games four and five of the Kelly Cup Eastern Conference Finals against the South Carolina Stingrays at SNHU Arena. The puck will drop on Friday at 7 PM and Saturday at 6 PM.
