On January 11, the Reading Royals visited the Manchester Monarchs for the second time in a week for the Monarchs annual CHaD (Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth) game. Donning their special blue and red jerseys, the Monarchs’ Joe Sullivan lit the lamp in the first. Monarchs players Tony Cameranisi and Travis Walsh each added to the tally.

Reading’s lone goal was by Frankie DiChiara late in the third period.  The final score for the game was 3-1 in favor of the Monarchs.

Two nights later, on January 13, the Monarchs traveled to Worcester for a Sunday afternoon matinee against the Railers on Sunday afternoon. Drake Rymsha and Nic Pierog each scored for the Monarchs, but it wasn’t enough as the Railers took a 4-2 win.

The Monarchs are on the road for the next couple of weeks but will be back at home on Friday, January 26, 2019.
