Arguments aplenty in the fifth episode of our third season of the mostly harmless Inside the SPHL Podcast! Recorded on November 13th, Campos and Harding go it alone and agree on absolutely nothing.

With the exception being the universal agreement of the Macon Mayhem being the top team in the SPHL right now.

In tonight’s episode:

  • We complain about the sudden (and early) arrival of winter, leading Campos to an early disclosure of our Walmart Item of the Week – sure to keep you warm with a beastly attitude.

For once… Campos actually bought this. We have proof.

  • More occurrences heightening the need of video review across pro hockey, while Harding updates us on what the ECHL is using to review calls on the ice.

From Saturday night’s Peoria/Fayetteville game… Did the shot beat the buzzer?

From Saturday night’s Quad City/Birmingham game… The overturned goal.

  • We break down the rest of the week’s action and focus on the first marquee matchup of the 2018-19 season between Macon and Huntsville on Sunday afternoon.
  • Campos names his three stars of the past week: Birmingham’s Justin Larson, Roanoke’s Colin Murray, and Peoria’s Alec Hagaman.
  • We release this week’s results of the PowerFive staff poll, with a unanimous decision atop the chart.

Next week, we’ll air our show on a special date. At 8 pm CT on Monday, November 19th, we welcome back Peoria Rivermen Head Coach Jean-Guy Trudel to The Sin Bin! You will not want to miss this! We’ll be on Facebook Live on The Sin Bin SPHL Facebook Page.
