LAFAYETTE, La. – The summer of podcasts wraps up with Harding and Campos reconnecting with the biggest Weatherbrain they could find, James Spann.
He recently wrote a book about his private life and career in radio and television, called “Weathering Life”. He stops by to talk to the guys about what went into writing the book, his love for radio, the biggest events he’s worked, most significant innovation of his career, and more.
They also discuss how to handle social media, a place that can be filled with trolls, haters and know-it-alls. In fact, Spann even read mean tweets after an infamous “snow bust” in Central Alabama a few years ago:
Finally, the guys talk about (at the time of the show) tropical storm Dorian, where it may ultimately wind up and how strong it could possibly get.
Our thanks to James for stopping by and doing the podcast once again! You can pick up your copy of “Weathering Life” at http://spannbook.com/, an audio version will be available on Audible later this year.
There will be no podcast during the month of September, as the guys get the site ready for the 2019-20 hockey season. The podcast returns with episode #88 on Tuesday, October 8 at a new time, 8:30 pm ET/7:30 pm CT!
