ATLANTA, GA – Friday, the Atlanta Gladiators announced they have extended qualifying offers to the following eight players, a list that includes six forwards and two defenseman.
The list is as follows:
Chris Auger – 27-year-old center who had three points (1G, 2A) in eight games after being acquired from the Brampton Beast at the ECHL trade deadline on March 10.
J.T. Barnett – 23-year-old right wing who had 13 points (5G, 8A) in 35 games.
Justin Buzzeo – 25-year-old left wing who had 27 points (11G, 16A) in 63 games.
Patrick D’Amico – 20-year-old center had 20 points (13G, 7A) in 50 games after he was acquired from the Colorado Eagles.
Thomas Frazee – 25-year-old center was Atlanta’s second leading scorer with 47 points in 71 games (16G, 31A).
Garry Nunn – 25-year-old right wing had 44 points (11G, 33A) in 43 games. He also played in 27 games with the San Antonio Rampage and Providence Bruins of the AHL last season, collecting 16 points (7G, 9A) in those contests.
Kevin Albers – 24-year-old blue-liner had 34 penalty minutes in 52 games.
Tyler Shiplo – 23-year-old had nine points (2G, 7A) in 40 games.
Players will have until August 1st to accept these contracts.
