WICHITA, Kan. – The more things change, the more they stay the same in the ECHL Power 10.
This week, like many others since the turn of the calendar, the Cincinnati Cyclones continue to be on top of the ECHL Power 10 as they close in on their second Brabham Cup in franchise history. The Florida Everblades continue to be in the second slot, winning eight of their last ten games and wrapping up home-ice advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs.
The disagreement on our staff comes starting with number three, between the Tulsa Oilers and Newfoundland Growlers. Tulsa has won eight of their last ten games, while the Growlers have only won four of their last ten.
From there, the rankings devolve into chaos, with some writers having Toledo and Utah in the top 10 despite having below .500 records in their last 10 games, while Maine and Fort Wayne are on the outside-looking-in of the top 10.
Here is a look at past rankings:
At the conclusion of play each weekend, our writing team will rank all 27 ECHL teams and the average of those rankings makes up the “Composite” ranking.
