The Colorado Eagles announced they have signed forward Kyle Ostrow for the 2015-16 season.
This will be Ostrow’s third season with Colorado, after spending the 2012-13 and 2013-14 campaigns with the Eagles. In total, the 5-foot-10, 180-pound winger notched 93 points (40g-53a) and finished with a plus/minus rating of +20 in 110 games with Colorado. During the 2013-14 season, he earned a spot on the All-ECHL Second Team after finishing tied for fifth in the league with 66 points (28g-38a) in 64 games.
The Calgary, Alberta native spent the past season playing in Europe with Lowen Frankfurt, registering 13 points (5g-8a) in 11 games during an injury-shortened season with the Lions.
In addition to his time with the Eagles, Ostrow has also appeared in 59 ECHL games with the Chicago Express and 12 AHL games with the Abbotsford Heat and Rochester Americans.
Ostrow spent four seasons at the University of Denver prior to beginning his professional career, including a senior season which saw him serve as the team’s captain and earning Team MVP honors. During his time with the Pioneers, Ostrow tallied 105 points (55g-60a) in 158 games.
