The Brampton Beast will officially announce an historic exhibition game on Tuesday. The team will take on the National Ice Hockey Team of India at the Powerade Centre on October 9 at 7:15 pm ET.

This will be the first time in ECHL history one of their member teams has played a national hockey team.

Brampton is home to one of the largest East Indian communities in the world outside of India and is also a Canadian hockey hotbed.

At the announcement tomorrow, an official agreement will be signed between Brampton General Manager Cary Kaplan and Director of the India Ice Hockey Association Akshay Kumar.

Ticket packages for this game are $29.90 and will be available for purchase immediately following the announcement. A portion of all ticket packages purchased will be donated to the National Ice Hockey Team of India.
