PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence Bruins will head into the 2017-18 season full of confidence after the reaching the Eastern Conference Finals last year. Let’s look at how their slate of games breaks down.
Before the start of the 2017-18 regular-season campaign, the Bruins will play the Springfield Thunderbirds in a preseason game on Saturday, September 30 at the Dunkin Donuts Center.
The Bruins will have their home-opener against the Springfield Thunderbirds on Saturday, October 7 and have their annual Pink At the Rink game against the Springfield Thunderbirds on Friday, October 13.
The Belleville Senators and Laval Rocket will visit the Dunkin Donuts Center for the first time on Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22. The Binghamton Devils will make their first pilgrimage to “the Dunk” on December 1 and 2.
Longest road trip of the year for the Bruins is eight games; running from December 13-30. During that journey, they will visit Hershey, Syracuse, Hartford, Springfield, Utica, and Belleville.
The longest home stand of the season is just three games, running from December 8-10, when they host the Hartford Wolf Pack and the Utica Comets.
In January, fans will get the rematch of the hotly-contested Eastern Conference Final from this Spring, when Syracuse visits the Dunkin Donuts Center on Sunday, January 7. The Crunch eliminated the Bruins in six games last year.
There will be Military Appreciation Night on January 26 when the Hershey Bears come to town.
Star Wars night will be held on March 23 and 24 when the Lehigh Valley Phantoms visit the Dunkin Donuts Center.
