BELLEVILLE, ON – The Belleville Senators will be a little closer to their National Hockey League affiliation with the Ottawa Senators which is about two and half hours away depending on where you are coming from in the city.  Their home games will be played at Yardmen Arena.

“We are delighted to announce our schedule and we share in the excitement of all Bay of Quinte hockey fans after seeing it,” said Rob Mullowney, Chief Operating Officer of the Belleville Senators in a news release. “Hockey fans in this community, particularly season ticket holders, are going to see a level of hockey and excitement like they have never seen before. Our first season will be layered with moments that you will not want to miss.”

Major Schedule Highlights:

-Will play in their first ever game against the Laval Rocket beginning on Friday, October 6th at Place Bell. It will also begin their longest road trip of the 2017-18 campaign that will consist of nine games beginning in Laval then continue in Syracuse, Hershey, Hartford, Providence, Springfield, and conclude in Manitoba on Saturday, October 28th.

-The Senators home opener will be held on Wednesday, November 1st against the Syracuse Crunch. It will begin the longest home stand of seven games that will run until Wednesday, November 15th.

-Will host North Division rival, Rochester for the first time for back-to-back home games on Friday, November 10th and Saturday, November 11th.

-Will have back-to-back road games against the Toronto Marlies on Saturday, November 25th at Air Canada Centre at 1:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 26th at Ricoh Coliseum at 4:00 p.m.

-The Laval Rocket will play their first game at Yardmen Arena against the Senators on Wednesday, November 29th for a drop of the puck at 7:00 p.m.

-The Senators will host the Marlies for the first time at Yardmen Arena on Friday, December 1st.

-The Utica Comets will head to Belleville for Family Day, a holiday in Canada, on Monday, February 19th.  The game will start at 3:00 p.m.

-The final home game of the 2017-18 campaign will be held on Saturday, April 14th against the Utica Comets.

-The final game of the regular-season will be held on Sunday, April 15th against the Toronto Marlies at Ricoh Coliseum.

The Senators will play 72 games in the Eastern Conference where they face North Division teams a total of 54 times and 18 times in the Atlantic Division. They will travel to play the Manitoba Moose in the Central Division with a total of four games.
