The Mallards announced that they have signed goaltender Adam Morrison and forward Charlie Taft.
Morrison spent last season backing up Jeff Jakaitis in South Carolina, although he put up some good numbers himself. Morrison went 15-5-2 for the Stingrays with a 1.88 GAA and a .928 save %. He is just 24 and has played 51 pro games.
Taft is a rookie coming out of Colorado College. He scored 17 goals over four seasons there. He is the son of John Taft, who played for the 1976 USA Olympic team, and as a pro he played for the Detroit Red Wings and a number of minor league teams.
