WICHITA, KS – The full Wichita Thunder schedule for the 2017-18 regular season was released on Tuesday.

Wichita will kick off their 26th season in minor pro hockey with a pair of home games against the Indy Fuel on October 13 & 14. 28 of the 36 home games on the schedule will be played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, while 26 of 36 road games will be played on the same three nights.

Wichita will travel to Toledo, Kalamazoo, and Idaho for the first time ever. The longest road trip of the year for the Thunder takes place in March as the team will be gone from INTRUST Bank Arena for eight games from March 10th to March 28th, thanks to the NCAA Tournament. Wichita’s next longest road swing is six games, which goes from February 3rd to February 13th.

The Thunder will have a tough schedule next season, as they will play all eight Western Conference playoff teams, and have an opponent winning percentage of .573.
