TORONTO, ON – The Toronto Marlies will have a busy 2017-18 campaign and welcome two new rivals to the American Hockey League North division with the additions of the Belleville Senators and Laval Rocket.
Major Schedule Highlights:
-The Marlies will have their home opener on Saturday, October 7th against the Utica Comets for an afternoon drop of the puck at 4:00 p.m.
-Will have a home-and-home series with the Laval Rocket beginning on Saturday, October 28th at Ricoh Coliseum and conclude at Place Bell in Laval on Wednesday, November 1st.
-Longest road trip of the season contains six games beginning on Wednesday, November 1st against Laval and will continue to Hershey, Lehigh Valley, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, and conclude with back-to-back games against Binghamton on Friday, November 10th and Saturday, November 11th.
-Will host three school day games beginning on Wednesday, February 21st against the Binghamton Devils. The other two will be on Wednesday, February 28th against the Syracuse Crunch and on Thursday, April 5 against the Utica Comets. Those three games will begin at 11:00 a.m.
-The Marlies will play four-home games at Air Canada Centre, home of their National Hockey League affiliate, the Toronto Marple Leafs beginning on Saturday, November 25th when they play their newest rival the Belleville Senators for the first time with drop of the puck at 1:30 p.m. Their other three games will be held beginning the day after Christmas on Monday, December 26 against the Belleville Senators, Monday, February 19th against the Hershey Bears and conclude on Monday, March 12 against the Laval Rocket. Those three games will begin with a puck drop at 3:00 p.m.
-Longest home stand will be three games, three different times throughout the year.
